"We're not good enough" was my favourite part. From the post game comments after losses of "We didn't execute" to the post season assertion of "We're not good enough", but no mention that coaching decisions were part of the problem. The big three will all return and with the possibility of getting new and better players for 2023. I firmly believe that bad in-game coaching decisions are not going away anytime soon.

This is starting to feel like the time the 'Cats let Calvillo go for nothing. Released him outright. He could have been McManus's back-up just like he was Ham's in Montreal but the 'Cats didn't want him. That, or when they dropped Collaros in favour of Masoli Sure looks like Evans will be following in the footsteps of the other great CFL quarterbacks like Clements, Calvillo and Collaros by being run out of Hamilton. I don't know how much more I can take following this shit show.

This move will be the defining moment of the Stein era.

This move will be the defining moment of the Stein era. He's got nothing to lose now so he's pushing his chips in the middle and declaring "all in". I guess all we can do is sit back and wait to see who they acquire before training camp opens in May.

Not alone but HAM has a long history of getting big ticket items but not surrounding them with anything or enough. Lancaster/McManus/Flutie being the other extreme.

I think this is all an act. From both sides.

I think this is all an act. From both sides. Could very well be. The timing of the deal was edging into GC week, which the league has decreed is supposed to be about the championship game, not a trade involving a future HOF'er. Bo was likely instructed by his agent to downplay anything other than heading to free agency. In practice, that could bite him in the ass as other teams settle their QB plans ahead of Feb, leaving him with little choice but the Cats. If there actually is a hush hush deal in place, you'd have to think that it includes an understanding of who the OC is going to be, in which case fans will be pleased to learn we're probably stuck with Condell for at least another year.

Condell frustrates me at times but the fanbase is out of control with the hate. He's respected and experienced and has shown what he can do with the proper support from management.

Both Condell & Washington need to be put on a tighter rein, but I don't think that's Steinauer's style. Butler & Gibson need to be turfed.

He underperformed with some good personnel & if I never have to see that stupid prevent defence again, it'll be too soon

He needs to stop abandoning the run and going all in on passing plays. I get at the start of the year the ground game was not possible with the Oline they had. He has always been a pass first and run after thought type of coach.
I would not be upset if they replaced Washington and Gibson though.
