So, i didn't *love* Wilson filling in for Simoni, it really felt like he strong spot was in the middle. Which.... might work out well with where Jordan Williams plays best? |

Likely couldn’t get many reps at slotback in Winnipeg behind Demski, Lawler, Schoen. In Hamilton he may only need to fight off Ternowski/Hakunavanhu if they play two Canadian receivers. He’s 6-3” , 226 so like you said, probably a special teams ace for sure. Good low risk move. Evan Johnson started on Redblacks and Riders, great injury insurance at guard and might push the starters. |

Just saw a tweet that said Kyle Wilson is ahead of schedule training after his turn achilles, along with a video of him working out. Maybe he'll be in the mix at TC after all.

That might explain a lot of their free agency strategy in letting Thurman walk and not offering Simoni a playing contract. Flowers-Lloyd and Williams on the outside would be my guess with Wilson pencilled in at the middle. |
