Let's face it...after both Lawler & then Lewis signed their bloated contracts, they both had shitty years. I wished we could have signed Lewis, but not for what he ended up getting.

Well at least we "won" something. Despite all these new free agent signings and re-signings, I'm still not registering any reading on the excitement meter. Maybe it's due to the fact that I have been through this before only to be let down. Trying to stay positive with a new head coach and everything but I guess I'll reserve judgement until after the first four games of the season to see where we stand in the early part of the season.

Why does it feel like we're exactly the same on offence as we were when we lost the East semi? Oh, because we are? OK then.
I with ya, 'pope...I like the D signings, but have to adopt a wait & see attitude on the O.

3down has us 8th in their BSPSPR so they're right there with you Count and pope.
i'm gonna lean optimist a touch at least and say even if we didn't get significantly better (which i think the cats have upgraded at least) Toronto and Montreal both look significantly weaker, and Ottawa won last year's off season too if i'm not mistaken....

This for me as well. Not trying to be negative but after the last two seasons I am firmly in the prove it to me that things have been improved player wise.
