Milo said in his meeting with HSG that they had a "just win" mentality. When the hell did that start ?

Will they drag Stein out for every FA signing or announcement or was today the last we'll ever see Stein behind a microphone?

While his offences are exciting to watch most of the time he has always been allergic to the running game which the last several GC show is vitally important to winning it.
I do not believe a team with him running the offence will succeed in the playoffs and Grey cup game.

They're Hawaiian themed shirts and hats.

Is Milo praising Powell just a new coach being polite and supportive or a clue ?

Is Milo praising Powell just a new coach being polite and supportive or a clue ? He sounded quite impressed with him. I didn't find him quite so complimentary of Bo.

Is Milo praising Powell just a new coach being polite and supportive or a clue ? He sounded quite impressed with him. I didn't find him quite so complimentary of Bo. He really stressed the importance of limiting turnovers. One thing about Powell is he stuck to the script, played within himself and for the most part didn’t force anything downfield. So in that sense he probably fits the ball control philosophy with the odd pick your spot and go deep. Still feels at least a year too early to go with Powell though, don’t think we saw enough upside or jaw dropping moments where you thought, this is “the” guy. Milanovich had his best successes with Ray and Calvillo, but BLM is probably more headstrong than either of those guys, so it doesn’t surprise me when Bo said they butted heads (as he said he’s done with every offensive coach he’s been around). And Milanovich doesn’t seem like a guy who will bend to his vets, more the other way around. Should be interesting no matter what. Personally I think Bo stays for at least one more year at a slightly reduced salary while they get more of a feel for Powell.

I think he did well for a rookie and has earned a shot back next year. I wouldn't start him though.

I think he did well for a rookie and has earned a shot back next year. I wouldn't start him though. I'm thinking that a good part of Milanovich's coolness toward Bo has to do with a contract renegotiation. Bo himself & Bo's agent know the danger around the bonus due in Jan. That, coupled with his poor performance last year, will likely factor into restructuring his deal. Milanovich's history has him rejuvenating quality QBs who were starting to tarnish: Calvillo & Ricky Ray, both of whom would go on to win championships. He's likely hoping to continue that pattern with Bo. And if not, who else is available? Personally, I'd take another run at Dane, but whether he would come back with Steinauer theoretically out of the mix at president but still involved with the team is unknown.
