Ticats have opened as 10 point underdogs.
I imagine it will be bet up to 12-13. This has the makings of a massacre

I think they keep this one close onto the 4 th quarter but still find ways to lose. At least we don’t need to stay up until 1 am to be pissed off.

But I can't see Powell scoring enough to keep it close.

The only way it's close is if the D & ST both find a way to score.

Future historians will point to this game when players started to bail on the 2023 season.

Future historians will point to this game when players started to bail on the 2023 season. Nah.....I think the true bailing will begin AFTER the Argos whip them at home on Labour Day. Home crowd will be in an ugly mood as they watch that game unfold.

but there's unfinished business dontcha know.... what does that even mean? I suspect it means the Ticat marketing department is out of ideas.

Home crowd will be in an ugly mood as they watch that game unfold. This game is the set-up for the LD debacle that's looming on the horizon. The Pollyannas who love to parrot that the season starts after LD will still hold out some hope of a win against the Argos, only to come crashing back to reality. September crowds are going to be SPARSE.

I have nothing... Not sure what to expect anymore with this franchise but really the next two games will likely determine the fate of this season.

You gotta love watching the video of when the Ticats are practicing. Working hard, making all the catches, looking like they're very serious about winning. Come game time it's a completely different story. They come out looking like they've never played football before. It would be so funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

To be fair, they are only playing against themselves, not actual competition...

I've been a fan for 87.3 years and I've never seen fans give up like this.
Reminds me of the time I was having breakfast with Carl Voyles at the old coffee shop at the Royal Connaught. We both ordered shnorgle and eggs which is what we called ham in those days, Big sign out front "Best Shnorgle And Eggs In Town 59 Cents." Anyway, our waitress,Betsy, her mum was friends with my mum because they played bridge together on Wednesdays before she got the rheumatism. Betsy's aunt was the church organist at the old Hess Street United Church before it burned down. We didn't go there because my dad thought the minister was a communist. So Carl points out that his fligflam was too hot. Fligflam is what we used to call coffee at the time because of the war..
