FFS. If there's a year to break the bank, this is it. Get Lewis signed. Going with White as the #1 REC is a recipe for disaster. Not going after Lewis and Lawlor but investing in White feels lame. |

Farhan: Cats aren't in Geno sweepstakes. Farhan's most damning tweet was that the "Ticats were never really in the Lewis sweepstakes. Kicking the tires, nothing more." Probably means we sign White and maybe Bailey or Ellingson. |

Apart from Bailey and Ellingson, could see them taking a chance on someone like Eric Rogers or Derek Walker and hope and pray the injuries don’t rear their ugly head. Or Markeith Ambles. Under the radar type would be a Shawn Bane from Calgary- good young returner with speed but hasn’t played much at receiver. Did Lalji say who’s in the running for Lewis? I could see Ottawa or Edmonton. |

Biggest reason to get after Geno was to keep him from torching us like he does every freakin game, not because he'd be some cure-all on offense |

Just saw a fb post saying we're making efforts to sigh White. Apparently, it's between us & Toronto on Orimolade. We've made an offer to Simoni, but other teams have as well.

I don't get it. Really don't. The only thing I can think of is the plan may be to start and/or rotate Diallo & Laurent until Wynn is ready to return 1/2way through the season. |

Do they actually have a plan? I have stayed quiet cause I have nothing positive to say about the team anymore. Really feels like Orlondo is throwing shit on the wall to see what sticks.
Orlondo, the man with the regression plan. One foot forward and three steps back. Cats not in on Lewis? Are they retarded? White is not worth 200K plus to me he is the kirk cousins of receivers, put up big numbers but little of it when it counts.
I really hope they get their shit together because while they made some good signings this feels like too many good parts out and not enough to even maintain last years mediocrity.

I dearly hope it was for a drastically reduced salary because this is a major head scratcher. I would hope so as Brooks seems like a bit of a salary dump (even though he wasn’t making huge money). Agree that they’ll likely keep the Diallo/Laurent rotation beside Sayles with Wynn out for now. |
