There was no shortage of Eskimo fans who thought we got their best QB. By no means was he seen as on the downside of his career. Imagine thinking Maas is a better QB than Ricky Ray. I do recall Maas coming off the bench to clinch a playoff win for them, can't remember if it was the GC or not, I think it was the year they won it with Maccioccia, 2005? Looks like he helped them in both playoff games - probably why everyone was excited about him coming here. Maas was good whenever he started for the Eskimos. Before Ray came as well as when Ray went to the NFL. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/maas-joins-ticats-in-4-player-deal-1.557688

That aside, I never considered him to be better than Ray. Not even close.

Milton column. All three coordinators back next year. Viva la continuity, everybody.

To be honest it took me awhile to process Morton, Newman and Watford and who did what when.Suppose it doesn't matter now.

I already posted this on "the prowl", but my personal feeling if I were Dane would be to give the finger to Orlondo and the team. After taking the team to a GC hwere we were massive favourites, to being relegated to backup to a floundering Masoli, and it taking the entore season fro Orlondo to make the correct decision, to hampering him with half-assed Olines and pathetic WRs to begin a season for two years in a row.
Reminds me of how June Jones hamstrung Collaros.

Wondering what you guys think the extent of Bob's involvement in the whole BLM deal is. I've been seeing some things on twitter that state that he pushed to sign Printers hard & that his whole "aw, shucks" thing is an act. While I'm willing to believe that someone who made the amount of money he has is a lot more direct than he portrays, if we have an owner who doesn't let his football people make the decisions is a recipe for disaster imo.
