Lol. Over on the Prowl, many posters calling for Dane to be traded because of his alleged "mental issues".
Unpopular take: Dane doesn't have any "mental issues". As an intelligent, well-spoken student of the game & son of a long time coach, he knows exactly what the issues are with this team & is frustrated that no steps are being taken to fix them.
Until such time as measures are taken to sort out the stupid management org chart (and that involves getting rid of Steinauer), this team will continue to be a frustrating dumpster fire. I have no doubt that if Evans is traded/cut/whatever, he'll light it up elsewhere & we'll be looking at another Collaros situation.
Based on some things I've heard privately, I stopped being a fan of Speedy, but after he left, he indicated that once he retires, he'll comment on some of the stupid stuff this org has done. Players aren't dumb, they know when shit isn't right; and while they won't comment on it pubicly, I'd bet they find it hard to commit when they know the plan/schemes/personnel selection is flawed. What you see when that happens is regular, uninspired play. Sound familiar?

There's a reason Barker, Burke, and Reinebold left the organization in the same offseason as O getting promoted.
Why would Burke, seemingly a long time developed employee leave for a lateral move? They could have easily made him VP of Football ops, and Stein General Manager.
Me thinks that over reaching promotion didn't go over well at all.

I was discussing this yesterday with my son. Those three leaving the organization should have been a massive red flag but as usual Bob and Scott Mitchell are truly blind on how to run a proper and actually competitive organization.
I have said for a while now I would love to sit and have a few beers with Reinbold and get the true skinny as to what is going on behind the scenes. I am just guessing but I do not believe that all has been well in Wonderland for quite some time now and Orlondo getting an undeserved promotion was the last straw for many.

That board is like a communist country where if you do not tow the party line you are ostracized and/or eliminated. The way the Cats treat reporters and the way posters are treated on that other board is very appalling.

Never occurred to me instead of complaining and pointing out things one can simply create an alternative reality.
