She's the only good thing about the panel. Sanchez & Stegall are both awful, Dunigan should retire. Naylor isn't bad, but he's only there if Dunigan is doing colour. Hasn't been really good since Schultzie left I don't mind sanchez. His delivery is rough but he's really smart.

Jay Onrait's entire deal was being irreverent. Nothing was safe. But NFL is such important business to TSN he has to drop it for "hey, I'm a fan just like you, are you excited about the game ? I know I am". Almost a 5 minute segment on sportsdesk after Mon/Thu games with uptempo Onrait the fan boy trying to draw something insightful out of the man bun guy. It's incredible someone at TSN thought this was good tv.

Bummers losing the WF to CAL is plausible. But invent a scenario where they lose a GC. You could but it would, to be charitable, border on fanatasy, science fiction.

You could but it would, to be charitable, border on fanatasy, science fiction. and yet equally plausible is that Toronto scores 18 points and wins an EF on a 22 yard botched snap FG... And wins the GC on a late Collaros INT.

You've got Argos winning the East. Believe it when I see it.

I re-watched the second half yesterday. A couple of things that stood out to me are that good teams win even when they play like crap - of course their opponent was no better than them.
I was wondering when Condell would shut down Wes Hills and go back to form - passing game only. I think he should have called more play action passes 10 yards downfield on first downs, though.
My wife was talking to her brother in Calgary during the game (it was okay as I pretend I am deaf and turn off the sound - I can't stand the announcers) and said to him that the Cats were having the crap kicked out of them. This was in the second quarter when they down by 5. Definitely by the end of the game I was able to truthfully tell her that being down by 5 points is not getting the crap kicked out of you.
The front four played their best game of the season. Granted it was against Gang-green but I understand their o-line had all of their starters back and much more was expected of them.
I know that rah rah fans are sometimes looked down on here, however if they make the playoffs what does it mean if they win their last game? (Not saying it will happen, only that it could).
This team has a lot of problems, however if they sign/recruit/draft 4 or 5 of the right players next year they will be dominant again. That's my end of rah rah for today.

Nothing wrong with being positive and looking at the bright side of things. But not being able to question the coaches, players, front office, without being called names, having your fan card revoked, or being whined about as toxic makes you the biggest of cheerleader. There's many things to be positive with on this team. But the gamble at receiver, OLine and kicker did not pay off. They've fixed kicker, bad to trade for some salaries on the OLine, but receiver is still a problem. I'm also not convinced this Dline is elite.

1. Often ,but not always, cheerleaders aren't making a football argument. It's a personal thing. They're fighting an insecurity or resentment. Which makes it particularly aggravating..
2. Making the playoffs changes nothing. They aren't a good football team
