Not sure too many people actually think Masoli should start next week... But who do you think WILL start?
I actually think the team will go to Evans.
You can't watch that tape and trot him back out. But I've been wrong before.

There is NO WAY that Steinauer is going to start Evans. If he didn't do it in the second half of the Argo game, he certainly isn't going to do it now. The 1A and 1B quarterbacking tandem that was stated by Steinauer after training camp is complete bullshit. The 2021 Ticats are Masoli's responsibility. If he ever decides to put Evans in it will be because of injury or the game is completely out of reach.

Well it's a 'must win' game after-all so I mean they certainly can't start their 2nd string QB and expect to win...can they ? I mean what message would that send to the fans *IF* they didn't start our number #1 QB ?

I like both QB's M & E , I think Evans is a more accurate passer ,not as robust as Masoli , Evans seemed to try and do it all himself sometimes , not a bad thing so much as long as you are built like Chuck Ealy or Masoli .
J. Masoli starts for that reason , I think we need to cut him some slack on long throws in a wind blown stadium Friday night , they went back to the long ball too many times for sure , maybe to try and throw off Chris Jones game plan or just not playing our game and forget about theirs..... ?
I didn't like the way Speedy B acted when a Masoli passto him was incomplete ,Speedy put his hands up in the air in frustration , I call it a selfish act by Speedy B ,come on someone on the Team should have addressed this long ago , it's a Team game ,don't embarrass your QB & Team Speedy ......
If we were the team GM's & Coaches (which we are on these forums right ,& thanks for this one!) we would practice on a nice flat grass soccer field before playing at BMO field next time and everytime right?
Players run a bit slower on grass , astro turf is a faster surface , timing is off especially with a winds effect , practice on grass before the Eastern final , guess I jumped a few games , optimistic ......

Masoli will be the guy for the rest of the year barring injury or a quarter where he throws picks on three consecutive drives.
Sadly this team is not built to compete in playoff weather and we saw that play out Friday. If Jeremiah is off on the long ball they don’t have a reliable run game and intermediate passing game 10-15 yards is almost non existent unless Addison comes back. We could win one home playoff game, don’t see much beyond that

the answer is Evans.
He is our future.
I'd rather sit Masoli and then just let him go at end of the season.
