Beat Sask and get the home game.
Sask has nothing to play for.
Does it really matter?

Nope. I'm betting we're 1 & done in the playoffs If our guys have any pride at all, they should at least honour our fans by winning at home vs Riders, and then vs Als. However, I'm not sure whether they have the fortitude/ability to topple their nemesis, the evil boat anchors.

Stein starts Masoli. Connects on one or more deep routes. Win is hailed as a bounce back game, Masoli regained confidence. Evans mop up duty to keep up pretense of 2 QB team. Hopes artificially raised. "Let's pack THF for Mosca. Quest for Cup begins now" Player alumni wave towels at pregame. MTL exposes HAM for what HAM is. Evans put in too late. 1/4 of fanbase suckered. Again. Stein praises team for fighting thru adversity of injuries all year. Don't want to talk about free agency right now. Rest of us who saw it coming have to sit and take it. Get called haters and negative. Watch Collaros and Oshea win a cup in our stadium.
What am I missing here ?

Both Evans and Masoli signing with other teams. 1-17 next year.

Two words: Art Briles.
Yes, the team CAN be that inept.

Sorry about that last post . Still trying to figure out the quote function as well as other nuances of this new forum .
Anyway as for the play-offs...I'm thinking that the Alouettes will have a great shot at knocking off the Boat Anchors at BMO in the EF .
In fact I fully expect to see the Alouettes representing the East at THF in this years Grey Cup .
Finally a fun and quirky fact : If it is indeed the Bombers vs Alouettes on Dec 12 it will be (hard to believe ) the first time that these two teams have ever met in a Grey Cup game .

Montreal home or away is going to be a tight game. Their defence has been getting better and Harris can get hot with a short passing game.
If we get by them, they need to change up the defence against Toronto. Bring the defensive backs closer to the line of scrimmage and force MBT to hold onto the ball longer and throw long. They will get burned occasionally but MBT hasn’t been that accurate on long throws and is at some point due to cough up a fur ball, he can be as inconsistent as Masoli. Let the linebackers help clog more of the intermediate routes with less blitzing and help limit some of the Yac yards. If he has to hold onto the ball longer, the defensive line will have time to get some hits on him. That’s my dream anyway.

The team finally rid themselves of Bertolet and signed Ferraro, another American Kicker. As the mighty one mentioned on the other site, Domagala plays Saturday, allowing another American to play.

Coach Dickenson told Derrick Taylor today on Regina's CKRM Sports Cage that Cody Fajardo , Duke Williams , Dan Clark and Micah Johnson will NOT play against Hamilton on Sat.. just sayin.
