Ryan traded to EDM for an 8th rounder in a blockbuster trade.
Kinda funny seeing members of "The Prowl" using this site as their source for Ryan not looking good in practice.

If that Aussie punter Bailey Flint doesn’t stick with the Steelers they may also try him out. On a side note, Jon Ryan joins a list of highly touted guys who either never played a game for us after signing or were only in a couple of games. There should be some type of Wall of Fame for guys like these: Martell Mallett Kenton Keith Devier Posey Jon Ryan Patrick Levels JR Tavai |

Well given the performance that Small has had they may as well let Domadomadumptruck have both jobs. Bring in others for the practice roster and to groom a competent replacement for the kicking. So far Domadomadumptruck has done good punting.

You are correct. Came up mid season in 2008 after being cut in the NFL. Played four games. At some point he had a knee injury, either at the end of 2008 or in training camp the following year and was cut. |

I too would be in favour of letting Domagala try both jobs if it was a benefit to the roster and ratio. Small does deserve more time to see how he develops though.

So far Domadomadumptruck has done good punting. I like this guy, he gets it. the truck has been pretty... scratch that... actually good in the punting department. He definitely didn't have this kind of leg last year. I also kinda like that he can at least fill in for FGs if Small or the next kicker of the week gets injured in game, without relying on the third string wide side receiver who kicked in a game once in pop warner to do it. |
