Im really not a fan of including last season - what we have now is what we have.
Winnipeg
Not sure if Ottawa is for real, but I think they presented a good challenge to Winnipeg and Winnipeg had to fight to win this one. I think we will learn alot in the rematch, the previous 2 seasons Winnipeg goes on the road and wins this game.
BC
I know it was Edmonton, but they hung 60 points. Rourke appears (for now) to be the real deal. Great to see a great atmosphere in BC for this one.
Saskatchewan
They let Hamilton hang around and were one mistake away from losing this one. Next up - Edmonton.
Calgary
Bo going down might have been the blessing they need. They don't traditionally play well in Hamilton so we'll see if they bring it to the Hammer, or experience a let down like their loss to David Watford in 2021.
Toronto
Didn't win, didn't lose. They lead the East.
Ottawa
Best "Loser" out there. Jeremiah Masoli is a solid improvement over whatever they trotted out last year. Stealing a couple lineman from other teams didn't hurt either. Ottawa is likely staying away from the basement this year. A win at home against Winnipeg and we can start to take them serious.
Hamilton
We've beat this one to death - but in football if you don't have an Oline, you have absolutely nothing. The biggest question from the offseason was answered for Hamilton, and the answer wasn't a good one.
Montreal
Hung in with Calgary but lost it late. Word out of Montreal is that Khari Jones is on a short leash.
Edmonton
Chris Jones didn't look impressed. Not sure about the 2nd Qtr QB change but Jones gonna Jones.
