1. If membership rises, there will probably be a need for an independant Moderator. 2. I don't see any "first unread" feature for the threads. I also don't see one on the QMJHL site, so it may not be a feature.

Id like to find a plugin that shows previews to links.
You know when you post a link you get the box with the picture of the site? As opposed to just text links.
Also like to get someone with some graphic design to help with a better banner and background.

I like the new "post" icons on the main page. It doesn't seem to have migrated to the other ones yet.

I like the new "post" icons on the main page. It doesn't seem to have migrated to the other ones yet. Thanks! The issue with the interior pages (thread pages) is that the "Folder" icon on the left doesnt change for "new" posts or "read" posts. That is driven by the "New" icon that shows up next to threads that you havent read. I didnt want to confuse things by having the footballs in the threads because a brown football means unread posts in the Forum itself, not the interior thread. Does that make sense? If we put the icons in the threads they would never change - they would always be the same, negating the purpose of the two colours of footballs on the main page. |

Makes perfect sense. One of the limitations of the board, I guess.
But you certainly can't argue that you're not getting your money's worth. I haven't seen a site bug or outage on this platform yet.

Knock on wood it's been very stable thus far. Now if we could only up the membership. Had no idea the argofans board was so popular. Even mike Hogan is a regular contributor. |
