From Uncle Milty's article yesterday:
"Steinauer said yesterday that Johnson will open camp in the middle of the defensive line beside Dylan Wynn."
As I said on the other board, this almost guarantees that Laurent will be a backup/rotational player.
Let's take a look at the current National projected starters:
OFFENCE
Revernberg (LG), Fontana (C), Woodsmansey (RG), Van Zeyl (RT), Durant (SB), Adeleke (S). That's six, buy my count, inclusing a RG that was "pretty OK" down the stretch (including a real boneheaded penalty in the GC game).
Who is the seventh National? Are they turning Simoni into a "naturalized Canadian"? Will they be playing 2 National receivers (Burt and Ungerer swapping)?

Or are they banking on something in the CBA that hasnt happened yet? You mean the CBA that the PA is negotiating through 3DN, Naylor, and Madani? The same PA that can't even contact our starting QB? The PA leadership is a joke.

I think the owners as polished business people always know how to play this. The players always resort to social media, it's basically all they have. But I'm generally on the players side with this stuff. I don't believe the owners ever negotiate in good faith.
