Apart from Stafford the only noteworthy name her is one Dominique Davis.
Before he goes down the memory hole....IMO he was the epitome of what robs TSN/CFL of credibility when it comes to player promotion. Yes, the league should promote QBs and yes that falls on TSN as its the only broadcaster. But he wasnt a pro level QB and TSN had no business hyping him as such in 2019 (far less so in '21). Would another broadcaster allow for more and different opinions or just more superficial hyping ? Or is everyone scared of backlash that could come from criticism of a black QB ?
Whats clear is he wasnt the first and certainly not last. He'll be forgotten but the tire-pumping of players who dont warrant it will endure.

Brandon Bridge was another example. IIRC it was Roddy that did most of the pumping but nevertheless...
