At this point - bupkis. As was mentioned on the other board, the Ticats have generally announced a bunch of signings at the same time. IIRC, any cap money from this season can be used as signing bonuses for players that won't count against NEXT season's cap, and there are only a couple of days left to do so. Of course, this assumes that there's ANY cap space left.
CVZ has said that he thinks he has another couple of years left in him; and if he stays healthy, then I agree. Speedy has been published saying that he wants back, and is willing to take a lesser role in order to do so. Simoni seemingly doesn't want to leave either. Same with Don Jackson. Hopefully Dane too, because he says all the "right" things about Hamilton.
I won't list all the potential Free Agents, because it's about 75% of the team. With a new CBA being negotiated (again, the players are whining to the media and can't seem to get it out of their heads that IT DOESN'T WORK and makes them look like petulant toddlers), and the cap -probably- not raising, I can't forsee many signings in the near future.

This team has some tough choices to make. You never want to be too late in letting a player go, especially a high priced one. Would love to see Speedy back in some capacity, though it would have to be incentive based.
Dane is obvious.
Tunde is obvious.
Davis is obvious.
The thing about unused cap space is it doesnt really matter who it's spent on, it just matters that it's been spent. I do think they've signed a couple guys and are holding off on the announcement like they normally do.
I don't think it's Dane though.

Outside of Vernon Adams in Montreal, I can’t think of too many big names that have re-signed with their current teams. Mostly lots of practice roster, special teams and depth guys. A few starting offensive linemen maybe. Would still be reassuring to see a few signings by the Cats but likely will come in batches in the New Year before season ticket deadline.

Could have something to do with the CBA and agents advising their clients to wait. Its possible the cap goes up.

Thought for sure Young would salve our wounds with a big announcement during Xmas week/New Year. He did. But the announcement was about him not "us" and I doubt anyone feels better.

I find it impossible to believe they signed nobody. They must be sitting on a few signings for season ticket time. But signings are down everywhere.

But signings are down everywhere. All I have noticed are ST and depth players, for the most part. Regie Begelton just re-signed with Calgary for one year at $167k in hars money (including a $30k signing bonus). Other than that, things have seemed pretty quiet.
This could be a result of the CBA expiring, and neither players nor teams wanting to do anything major before a new one gets hammered out. If the "Genius Sports" investment in the League (mainly sports betting and digital services, IIRC) can lead to some real income from gamblers then I can see the Cap raising a bit more than now. Who knows - maybe Genius Sports will take over the CFL site hosting and admin and do it much better than the (probable) contractors/part-timers/Ambrosie's granddaughter now working for the League.
On a separate note, The New Orleans Breakers of the USFL have hired Bart Andrus as Head Coach...

Bo restructures. Stamps secure franchise QB.
Bummers also give their fans a treat. Jefferson re ups for a year.
MTL welcomes back a legend to coaching staff.
In HTC news they announce how new ownership pie is divided and a popular coach walks out.
Enjoy, fellow fans.

We signed a Canadian kicker. Aren't you people happy yet? "Ok, people, listen up, kicking was a disaster all season. We need answers." "Bring in an American with pro experience ?" "Pfft , you know how much that'll cost ? C'mon, think" "How about we bring in a Canadian with even less experience than Domagala ? Like, we're talkin' zero at the pro level. League minimum all day long"" "Oh, hell yeah. thats what I'm talkin' about. If we go to 4 GMs you're hired!"
