A restaurant opened up here in Cambridge. It was called 'UR Diner'. It closed swiftly.I figured that it was just because people just weren't into ancient Mesopotamian food. It's not NEARLY as sophisticated as ancient Egyption food. THOSE people had BEER!!! Excuse me...google "oldest beer receipe" and you'll find the original home brew.😄 |

Point #1: There's a wide open window to win a championship
Point #2: Players are too expensive and there's a budget.
This gives me the confidence that nickles will be thrown around like manhole covers when it comes to ANY signings.

What worries me is that the money losing Forge is starting to impact the Tiger-Cats budget. If the ownership groups are using them to counter balance the soccer money bleed then the Cats are in for some very lean years.
I fear that the Cats will be losing a lot of their UFA's then signing some bargain basement replacements.

Seems since the Forge train has started rolling the Ticats have taken the hit. |

Theyre smart allowing time for fans to absorb and dial up the excitement over the Hervey move. Creates a sense of anticipation that more news is on the way. |

Looks like the whole "Dane Evans is in town" thing was a nothing burger. You'd have thought if he re-signed, it would have been announced by now. You can only hope they're piling a few signings together to do something for ticket time. But who knows. |
