Burke is off to Ottawa.
Time for the Cats to get a full time GM? And why wasn't it Burke?
Is it just Allemang now? Or do we bring in someone like Barker/DMac/ Etc.

I personally feel that ONE of them had to go.
As I said on the "official" board - I wonder if some of the questionable personnel dicisions made in the past two years were a result of his influince?
Kicker, Punter, O-Line - those were the three major things that I feel were complete failures. Yes, Domagals picked it up late in the season (good for him), but with the age of our core players, and the small fact that we were hosting the GC for the first time in 25 years, the team should have been all-in on a "Win Now!" mode.
Someone pointed out the blatently obvious thing that both Dane and Masoli are Free Agents. We could conceivably see them BOTH in different colours next season. This should be the FIRST thing our new GM addresses...

Allemang is still in shock that he's now the main guy responsible for signings. Hence, no signings to date, while other teams have all started.

Cats are usually slow off the mark re- signing players but tend to make a couple of high-profile ones just before Jan.1. You would think they would want to give fans a reason to renew before season seat deadline at minimum (Jan.24).
Hard to say how things go this year without Burke and the fact they hardly signed anyone new after training camp last season. Allemang and the personnel guys should be in NCAA bowl mode right now so if they didn’t do much contract legwork before the Grey Cup I can’t see much
happening until the New Year.
