Hamilton - WPG, CAL, ottToronto - MTL, @wpg, OTT, @edm Saskatchewan - OTT, @edm, BC, CAL and dont forget Ottawa - @ssk, @mtl, @tor, HAM Edmonton - SSK, @ CAL, TOR What path do we feel is the most realistic to get into the playoffs? If we could get Toronto and Sask to both lose today - we’d really be in business.

I think the most likely route is passing Toronto who have a tougher schedule. The Riders have three home games and they also still play Edmonton and Calgary. If they both lose today then we have more options which is always a good thing.

As the westernmost East Division team, it would be kind of cool for us to cross over & represent the West in the Cup. 🤣

I suppose anything is possible and that may be an even better route than hoping to pass the Riders (although that would be my dream scenario). Ottawa has 17 points and Saskatchewan has 13. I hope the Redblacks can win today.

Every year when the East was crap West fans said they preferred to crossover, but it never amounted to anything.

I really wouldn't want the crossover either but right now I want the team to have every playoff possibilities that exist and nothing would be better than knocking the Riders out if that's the way it has to go.

I've been thinking about this a bit, & I'm really impressed with this team. I can't recall another team that seems to have the same level of fight and character that this team has. The closest I can come is the Danny Mac-led teams of 1998-2001. You could never count them out, because Danny always had the ability to mount a comeback.
2015 prior to Zach's injury, we were blowing teams out, & in 2019, it was pretty much the same. I don't recall a Ticat team that were comeback kids in the same way this team is. For much of the 80s, we were just lucky to be there, with the possible exceptions of 86 & 89, and the 70s were forgettable after 72.
Now that I wrote this, maybe the 86 team would be comparable if this team were to end up winning it all (😁), but that is a huge long shot.
Can anyone else recall a Ticat team with this much character?

(especially with Sask and TO winning today) and to piggy back on another post.... I don't neccessarily want to *be* the east crossover team, but I would like for there to be one, because i think it'd be really funny to watch a bunch of saskatchewan/BC fans and the entire province of alberta shit themselves and try to talk themselves into circles about why an east crossover isn't fair for a the duration of their offseason.
