How could anyone deny that Evans earned the start? I mean, seriously. We all saw him put the team on his back. I'm not a Masoli hater per se, but YOU SAW IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES!!!
If he even thinks about starting Masoli, it's proof that he's lost the plot.
O line had better collectively strap on their big boy pants, but this is doable. It's only 1 game, but they're gonna have to play a complete 60 minutes. Have they done that even once this year?
Edwards had better be charged, fine, cut & prevented from signing with any other team. Wtf were players doing in the stands anyway?

My observations after attending the game at BMO: It was very tough sitting there watching what was unfolding in the first half. Just like the last visit in TO, the 'Cats are totally outplayed in the first half with the only saving grace being they were only down 12-0 at the half when they realistically could have been down 20-0. Masoli was pulled for Evans EXACTLY at the right time in the game and we all know how that turned out. Totally different Ticat team in the second half and you could just feel the momentum getting stronger and stronger as the game wore on. The comeback had an almost surreal feel to it, almost like I can't believe this is happening (similar to the comeback in 1986 at Exhibition Stadium).I have seen a lot of things in almost 60 years of following the 'Cats but the strangest thing I ever did see actually occurred in the parking lot of the Burlington GO station after we returned home. As I was walking to my car I observed some guy getting into his car wearing a white Ticat jersey with number 18 and the name Bertolet on the back.I'm still dumbfounded!!!

I just saw something posted on fb...a fan snapped a pre game photo of Chris Edwards giving Hamilton fans the finger, which TSN did show on the broadcast. This fan emailed the photo to Ambrosie & posted his response saying they're looking into it. So, between this & throwing a punch at a fan, I think it's safe to say Edwards is the one with a history of issues.
I screenshotted the exchange, but don't want to post it because it has the fan's email addy in it.

I just saw something posted on fb...a fan snapped a pre game photo of Chris Edwards giving Hamilton fans the finger, which TSN did show on the broadcast. This fan emailed the photo to Ambrosie & posted his response saying they're looking into it. So, between this & throwing a punch at a fan, I think it's safe to say Edwards is the one with a history of issues. I screenshotted the exchange, but don't want to post it because it has the fan's email addy in it. Lots more info and other videos have been posted since, and the Ticat "fan" apparently spit a mouthful of beer into Edward's face. If so, that "fan" deserves everything he got. The police and courts will sort things out. I admit, I was one of the first to condemn the player, facility, team, and security/police. I will endevour to be less hasty in the future...

The play that got Masoli pulled. 7 steamboats 4 open receivers (2 in the endzone or with a clear path) 0 decisions made 1 fumble that should never have been. I know its cliche to say it but it almost was like he was actually trying to get pulled. |

If the fan spit on him, that's reprehensible, he should be charged with assault, but so should Edwards. If the "fan" somehow got into an area where only players should be, that's one thing, but the video showed Argos players in full equipment climbing up to get to that area. I don't think they should have been there. Both parties likely in the wrong. The whole exchange reminded me of Ticats/Argo games from the 70s & 80s when you'd regularly see whole sections fighting. |

Reports on CP24 say that the "fans" hopped over the wall/barrier to confront the blew team players.
It's been reported that he spit beer into the Edwards' face, shoved his flag into his face, and made "threatening" motions (ie: "street fight" hand signals).
I actually don't blame the other player for coming to his team mate's defence. Ugly incident for all "sides" involved.
The "trespassing" charge is likely only the first charge the Crown will lay. Also reported, is that the police/Crown may look into the response by the player to see if it was "within reason" of defending himself.
Personally, if that guy jumped into a restricted area to confront a grown-ass football player in prime condition WEARING ARMOUR he deserves whatever thumping he gets. Probably should have had the shit kicked out of him IF HE STARTED THINGS.

The latest footage shows Ticat fans throwing beer & other refuse at Argos players & staff walking to their dressing room and stopping to sign autographs for their fans.
I don't know why these so-called fans would do this; the game was over, the Argos had lost, who cares if their fans want autographs?
Blame BMO field for the setup that allowed Ticat fans to access the walkway above their path to the dressing room, but the behavior of these fans was inexcusable. And yes, it showed a guy in Ticat gear jumping the barrier.
The people should not only be banned from BMO field, they should be banned from our stadium too, imo.

I don't know why these so-called fans would do this; the game was over, the Argos had lost, who cares if their fans want autographs? Late last night, I saw yet another video of Chris Edwards running out of the tunnel & snatching a fan's Ticat flag. So, to recap, he did that, gave the fans the finger on tv, charged Speedy AGAIN at the end of the game while Ticats were in victory formation, took a swing at a fan who likely had it coming...did I miss anything? Wonder if Acklin stealing the Argo fan's flag was in retaliation for Edwards taking the Ticat one. Like most of you, I was sure we were going to be penalized for that. I'm disgusted though, at these Ticat "fans" & their actions. What would our reaction be if the roles were reversed & this happened at THF? |

Silly question, but what was she doing on the "team" side of the barricade? Same with the guy in the Western sweatshirt? Looks like both were arrested/detained, probably for tresspassing.
