Just another jersey where they won't be able to see the numbers from the stands. Why are they the only team in the CFL to have three different home jerseys (regular, retro and alternate)? It's because they know those rabid Rider fans will gobble anything up that the team sells in the merchandise department.

Week 1.
MTL @ WPG. Bummers are *still* the class of the league until further notice.Game o the week.
SSK @ EDM. Eskimos still the free space on the bingo card until further notice.May get ugly.
TOR @ BC. Even QB drama aside the Argos defense was gutted. This could be uglier than EDM.

What do you expect when most teams do not play their veteran players during pre-season games and if they do it's usually no more than a quarter of football. On another note, it looks like these chipped footballs are a real problem for field goal kickers who all expressed a desire that the CFL shouldn't be using them. After watching Castillo last night you have to wonder how Liegghio will be treated by the fans for missing field goals and converts when there clearly is a problem with the football.

Also in that article they mentioned that some kickers had bruised their foot. I wonder if that's what happened to Flint, as he apparently needs a procedure/surgery to fix it. |
