It's gameday kids!
Chiefs and Niners, who y'all got?
I've got it on good authority that the Chiefs are going to win..... its my sister in law... she picks based on the uniform combos... apparently the niners look like Dijon Mustard right now? whatever... in the same breath.... I don't super care
It's that time of year again, for WHATS ON YOUR SUPERBOWL SPREAD???
We're going slightly lazy and ordering in a box from a local place. (Gillies in Brantford if you find yourself about half an hour west of the stadium)
Chicken bites deep fried pickles potato wedges spin dip balls carrots and celery three dips (not bad for $40)
I've got meat ball subs, grilled wings, and frozen pizza to fall back on if we end up with guests.
And.... cocktails anyone?
What are y'all putting out?

Sous vide pork ribs - my own rub, finished on the grille with my homemade BBQ sauce (ACV, ketchup, yellow mustard, grated onion, garlic, ginger, chipotle salsa); Mini-potato (white, yellow, red, purple) salad - kewpie mayonnaise, sour cream, red onion, celery, apple cider vinegar, cumin/fennell/caraway seeds dressing; Romaine and cucumber salad;
Probably Steam Whistle beers.

I got the back ribs at Costco. The ribs soak for 24 hours at 150*F, then I douse them in my sauce and caramelize them on the grille.
I already had the mayo and needed to use the sour cream, so potato salid it is. The only cabbage I have is red, and from experience, that turns into a pink coleslaw no matter what I do. Also, red stains.

We went with Pizza, (Not Mr Grande). Chicken tendeys, nachos and chili. No smoker this year.
The rest of the night can kiss my ass.

As the husband of a 49ers fan, the game ended in a disappointment. They played an excellent game, but the KC D shut them down in the second half. They just needed ONE FD to end the game in regulation.
