Bethea was a good solid running back who contributed in several ways like rushing, receiving and returning kicks. Not overly flashy, but he was consistent as he scored 30 touchdowns in his career and won three Grey Cups with the Tiger-Cats back when they used to win Grey Cups. Seems like a lifetime ago which it actually is.
