Add Derel Walker and Jamal Davis to the fold.
At best? interesting signings at least, at worst? grasping at straws?

Forgot how impressive Walkers resume was. Cats need about half a dozen games out of him. A WR at 32 that might be all he has.

I see Walker as a depth piece or to give McAllister a break - or a replacement for Duke.
We need all the DE help we can get, and this guy seems at least on par with our current crop.

two experienced guys being brought in, really can not hurt just don't get your hopes too high. I do like that they are not sitting on their arses doing nothing as this team needs upgrades.

Now is the time they’re expanding the practice roster so they have an opportunity for some roster juggling. Can’t hurt to have a vet receiver for the playoffs. Mentioned on the other forum that Anthony Johnson seems to be in the doghouse. Davis looked good in his first go with the Als, not so much this year but he’s no worse than Crawford/Davis/Carney at this point. Would still like to see them look at some other dbs, a few on the practice roster at the moment. |

If JG doesn't dress this week, but Jamal does, is that Calgary trade back on?
I was surprised by the Walker signing. Not sure how serious his knee injury was, but coming back from that at 32 has to be tough.

Jamal Davis will be playing but it will be Tre Crawford he is replacing. Crawford has already been moved to the practice roster. Stein wants to keep playing Ja'Gared Davis because he is the Grey Cup lucky charm, not because he actually does anything during a game. That's what it's come down to in Ticat land for the remainder of the year......hopes, dreams and lucky charms and please don't forget "anything can happen"!!!!

Walker still 6'2" all game long, might not be a legit deep threat anymore, but a big veteran target over the middle with hands is pretty alright
