As we took our dog for a walk to the river for a swim, she charmed a gentleman coming out of his house across the street. I was wearing my Ticats hat (as per normal) and he mentioned that he loved the hat. He also mentioned that he used to play for them.
He had a big laugh when I mentioned "Number 17, if Im not mistaken." This is the only clue I am giving, unless you know where I live...

Last I heard he was a sportscaster on one of the local news stations in Ottawa. Not sure if that’s still the case Sig?
My only personal recollection of him during his time here was he and Wally Zatylny acting like goofs in the Westdale Theatre.

Last I heard he was a sportscaster on one of the local news stations in Ottawa. Not sure if that’s still the case Sig? My only personal recollection of him during his time here was he and Wally Zatylny acting like goofs in the Westdale Theatre. Pretty sure it was CTV Ottawa, but he hasn't been on in years. He came to the team when Rocky DiPietro retired; not an easy guy to replace. He looks like he's lost some weight and is looking pretty trim and fit. Great guy to talk to. |

I was just in Ottawa for the last 2 days. Nearly 59, & believe it or not, I had never been there.
Struck me as weird to have the stadium so close to downtown, lol.

Basically, if anyone's coming to Ottawa, we should all meet up for drinks or a BBQ (smoked brisket -might- entice Mr. Evraire... lol).
