I can't see how clinching first place this early will help the Argos mentally for the remaining six games of basically meaningless football. I mean they will come out wanting to win but if they fall behind on the scoreboard by a decent amount I just can't see that they will have the fight and will to win the game. They also have to monitor how much playing time certain players get for these last six games, especially Ouellette and Kelly. The key for the 'Cats will be to get up on them early but even with a win it will be hard to tell if they have turned the corner because of the situation the Argos are in. A Ticat win definitely won't be a shock to me.

Agree with Pope. Cocky and confident cuts both ways. They might not see investing a whole lot of effort and motivation as worth it. Its only HAM. HAM wins and Argos pat them on the head and chuckle. They may also see HAM as an annoying yappy pest and another opportunity to assert dominance and put them in their place.
With HAM more victories means higher expectations and that will test Powell. He's passed the first couple of auditions so lets see how he does as things start to get "real."
Cats keep it close and competitive but the same old weaknesses, esp on defense, will be exploited. Argos by 2 scores.

Argos (and I hate to admit this) are well-coached. I can't see them falling into a trap game. But I gave us no chance against Wpg, so what the hell do I know?

Hard to say what to expect anymore from Hamilton. What team is going to show up, Jeckell or Hyde?

I say Argos by 7. Don’t like our chances if Woods and Lawson are starting again. Hopefully they surprise us.

This is about as close to Toronto's "B-team" as is possible without resting Kelly. Probably our best chance for a win against them this season.

About 3 minutes in, and we're down by ten due to a horrible pick-6 on Powell on a ball that should never hae been thrown. He never took his eyes of the primary reciever, and the MLP read the play All. The. Way.
Rookie QB mistake.

At half time Dunnigan will say this is part of Powell's progression, maturity etc. Book it.

As if being employed by Stein and his crew isn't the very definition of "adversity"...

TSNs two week love affair with Ticats and Powell is jeopardy.
