"Anything can happen" is not an answer . Anyone trying this cop out will be forcibly removed.
Injuries aside. All things being equal, describe a scenario where HAM wins or makes it even remotely close. Dont be shy. This is a safe space.

If they play as they did vs BC, then it -could- be close. WPG and BC are two different teams, though.
WPG has BY FAR the better D-line and running game.
At this point, Wynn is a non-factor even IF he sees the field.

If Hamilton can establish a strong running attack in the 1st quarter and can maintain it, that should allow them to pass. Powell has improved quite a bit over the last few games. The defensive secondary needs to play penalty free with tight coverage and make first contact tackles. In other words, they need to play old fashioned football. I'd also like to see some creative play calling by all three coordinators.

Are we going to see the usual listless, unmotivated team that shows up for our home games and is behind the eight ball on the scoreboard before you know it? If so, it's going to be a long afternoon. Here's hoping they can show at least a little bit of anger and some pride.

I'm thinking a situation where Wpg's team gets some bad chicken or fish on the flight, a la Airplane 2.
That aside, an aggressive & angry Ticat D, combined with a ball control offence heavily featuring the run to limit the Bummers' time with the ball could do it.

WPG is better than TOR. So like LD it will be a repeat of watching a defense that can't stop anything of quality and an offense that can't sustain anything competitive.
Since it's WPG it will be even more acute and painful. Its alarming how people don't see this or try to wish it away.
I used to be an "anything can happen" fan.
When I was 14.

Have you heard Stein's interview with the media after practice today? Very insightful and full of info.....NOT!!!!Why they even continue to do these is beyond me. Notice that what they post on the main site has become shorter and shorter?Typical softball questions that doesn't have Stein grabbing his cap and saying "to be honest with you". He sure has the media trained like little puppies.

I'm hoping for the best given that Butler (questionable), Wynn and Leonard are all sitting out this game. Also assuming that Powell will start again.
Does anyone have any news or thoughts on Mitchell? Is he going to return and if so what are your thoughts on if he will be effective?

BLM was god-awful in the first games he started; with the Ottawa game being slightly better. Because of the black hole surrounding any information on the health status of the team's "star" FA QB, we really hove NO idea if/when he makes it back.
We have a depleted Secondary with Adeleke being dinged-up, and with Leonard out.

"Anything can happen".
And that "anything" is another humiliating loss which leaves real fans wondering "why cant WE build a dominating roster?"
