If math is correct only the 10th time in 50 years have we met TOR in post season and only the 5th in the final (71, 83. 84, 86, 2013).
Questions:
Masoli ? How bad does have to get to plug in Evans ? Did offense chop playbook after 17 point lead so theres room for more optimism? Do Dinwiddie/Jones run rings around Stein again regardless? Realistic that D recreate last week's scenario to bail out offense again ? Is MBT any more of a worry than Harris ? Where's Addison? In and out privileges ?

Masoli will be completing the season. Just hope it ends here in the Hammer, and not in Toronto. MBT was completing those 5-8 yard darts one after another in Toronto. Something Harris wasn't doing. Hope we see Addison play, although I'm sure he'll be rusty...so maybe not?

I'd bet Addison is back for this game. I'd like to know about Frankie Williams though.
The coaching staff had goddamn better do something different after losing 3 games to the Argos, both on offence and defence.

The two game total point good ol 1961 Eastern final sixty years ago with the second game at Civic Stadium was my first game attended ......Argo's & Ti-Cats I was 11 yrs & just lucky to be in the Civic Stadium, just remember Dad saying watch #10 & #61 , Bernie Faloney & John Barrow , there was cigar smoke in the air , fur coats on the ladies , the game went into overtime due to the total points being equal after the two games ...... We won in overtime and played the Bombers in the Grey Cup Game 1961

Bringing back the West & East two game total point series would increase revenues , then a two week break leading up to the Grey Cup Game .....
I miss the good ol 2 game total points finals....off topic....?

Its reallllllly hard to lose 4 straight to the same team, which does give me hope that we will pull this one out. However, if we do lose 4 in a row at some point you just have to accept that they're better than us, which im not willing to do yet

I'm hoping our field goal kicker and the holder are practicing on natural grass with the different cleats on for our kickers...... just a thought......

Before this year, I would have said no to that one as well.

But how much or more are the odds favourable when virtually nothing has changed for HAM over that span Addison notwithstanding ?

A game away from the GC between two old rivals you say ? Its been a real snoozefest so far. Need mightypope to come in and guarantee a victory or something.

Guarantee a victory.....are you kidding? I'm going to the game (like I always have)but I have absolutely no clue as to which Ticat team will show up. I just know that Toronto is not a very good team but if they defeat the 'Cats again I might have to change my tune. I just hope the 'Cats can pull this one out so I can have a team to cheer for while attending the Grey Cup game. My worst nightmare will be if Masoli struggles but Steinauer keeps him in too long and then decides to go to Evans when it's too late. The 'Cats should be totally pissed at the way they played the last game in Toronto, so they have to get off to a fast start and remember, the Argos have been off for three weeks, so get them early while they are still a little rusty.

Once you get past all the negativity and fake fan ranting 'pope raised an interesting point..Argos havent played a meaningful game in pretty much a month. Is this a legit factor ? Feels like it might be.

Feels like it might be. We’ve seen it both ways in this league - well rested team dismantles the up and coming battle tested underdog. Or the rested team comes out flat against a hungrier rival. Key for Hamilton is to start fast. Both games in Toronto we struggled moving the ball and putting points up first half. Defence has to find a way to disrupt MBT and short passing game. Secondary will really need to step up and play tighter in coverage I think, at the risk of maybe giving up the long ball. But I like our chances better forcing them into deeper throws and making him hold onto the ball longer. If we can get Ciante Evans back I’d feel a whole lot better but either way I think they need to dress Stribling as a contingency for any in game injuries.

The last time these teams played a couple connected shots early would have changed the game entirely However Jones will probably be ready for that. Or will he?
