Are we allowed to notice things, be critical of shortcomings, and disagree with the choice of QB on here without being accused of whining?
Asking for a friend...
I'll take 250-yds in total Offence and a win over 400+-yards and a loss. Masoli was far from his best, but at least he didn't have any turnovers. His passing, aside from I think two beauts, was shockingly bad. The team had it's usual 3rd-quarter Offensive slump, and they couldn't buy a first down with all of Bob's money.
The Defence, aside from the 10-yd empty zone, played their lights out. Lots of players out of position by the end of the game and there seemed to be little drop-off. Domagala was perfect today.
Clock management is still a thing (right, Crash?), and the decision to give up a safety was interesting. MTL would need two (single) converted TDs to win at that point, then they needed a TD, a 2-PAT, and a FG to tie. It's also surprising that MTL took the ball on their 35 instead of attempting a return.

The dude on the cheerleader site is out to lunch.
I can't see how anyone could expect us to beat the Argos or any of the West representatives with the offence we saw today & for much of the year.

It's a war on noticing and high expectations.

I think the two of them are paid supporters, because that level of fanaticism is incredibly rare outside of Leafs fans...

Waiting for the first "our defense shouldn't act so cocky" heading into EF.

Feel like I watched the first 50 minutes of that game before.
Offense was invisible. No running game. Masoli not great. Threw a couple balls he had no business throwing.
It's a win, we're where we expected to be, but it's not at all comforting.

Can you name a Cat playoff team from years past with such a bad offense? I can't. Fingers crossed the defense can pull out another miracle this Sunday.

Can you name a Cat playoff team from years past with such a bad offense? I can't. Fingers crossed the defense can pull out another miracle this Sunday. The semi- final against Argos in 2015 was a pretty poor offensive showing. We scored 1 TD with Bakari Grant and it was basically due to the Argo defender falling. At the time Masoli was basically promoted from 4 th string after injuries and poor production from Jacory Harris. He got pulled at half I believe then went back in later in the third quarter. Stepped it up afterward and had a good game against Ottawa the following week. Understandable to be off your game at the time having never played the whole year but it’s time for Jeremiah to step up next week. He is hot and cold, let’s hope next week he is on the money.
