I'm calling George Jr Kenny G from now on. watching the game again today (was at a bar after ball on thursday, no volume) and i'm glad i came to the page first, because i've been unconsciously referring to him as Kenny G all game. just got to the missed INT and subsequent PI call "awwww kenny g c'mon be better"

The PI is a tough one that I’ve seen a lot of dbs get burned on, underthrown ball that’s tough to stop and get turned around on. It’s not like Rolle never got burned on those last year. He did drop a couple of picks but how many did Ciante Evans drop for us last year? Doesn’t seem to be an issue for him in Montreal. You’re going to have to live with growing pains most of the time you have a rookie db in this league. I wouldn’t write him off, seems to be in better position and fewer busted coverages from the secondary overall. Of course, it’s Ottawa and Edmonton so we’ll see how they handle Daniels, Coxie etc.

I'm one of those guys who expects a professional football player, especially in a skill position, to catch a football that hits him in both hands - within reason, of course. I'm not talking about knocking down a bullet at the LOS by a DE or anything like that.
I agree that he's learning the game and is looking "better", but not at the pace of Elliott. Leonard has regressed - the man doesn't know how to tackle or cover.

Keep in mind as well that defensive backs can’t go all out on the ball with both hands because they always have to be worried about making the tackle if the pass is complete.

Agreed - if they had better hands, they would be recievers. Kenny G had better position on both his drops than the WR, although the diving one was more difficult.

I guess the positive thing is he’s breaking on the ball, making plays and being aggressive. Hope to see more progress through the year.

I wonder who the third QB will be? My guess is some sort of ambidextrous mule. It'll be the feel good story of the year!!

Grey cup contenders to having to go Pipkin dumpster diving and the summer isn't even half over yet.
