2 min into the argo/Elks pre-game & they're circle jerking all over Chad Kelly he looks pretty good. Yeah. Don't know if I'm more pissed off that Argos have a coaching staff that can design an offence around his skillset or that the FAs we paid a ton for couldn't stop him. |

Arbuckle listed as 3rd string for tonight’s game. If Tyrie Adams shows any promise I can see Redblacks cutting Arbuckle loose once Masoli returns.

I don't think Masoli is coming back anytime soon. If Ottawa continues to win, as they play the 'Cats next, they won't rush Masoli.

Adams made some truly great throws last night. He also made some absolutely bonehead decisions. That being said, I think only 1 of his picks (#4, or was it #5?) was actually thrown to no one, other than the Argo db who picked it off. What does it say about how much confidence BC has in Dane that they allow Adams 6 picks without yanking him? |

I never felt at any time that they were going to get Evans into the game. As you said, Adams was throwing some great passes and moving the Lions downfield and then he would get picked off to end promising drives. If you're not moving the ball downfield AND throwing interceptions then that is when you're going to get yanked. It felt the same as when McManus was here. He would throw a couple of picks but Lancaster would throw him right back out there.

VAJ looked like he did when he was in Montreal. Some of the picks were outstanding athletic plays by the DBs, others were mis-reads by VAJ, and some were complete bonehead throws, with one being in desperation inside 2 minutes. Dane got to hand the ball off three times to end the game. I would have forced VAJ to complete the travesty he created.
What WASN'T mentioned was the 6 Misconduct penalties that happened with less than a minute left. Roid-boy took a swing at the defender who tackled him, and then things got a little out-of-hand. TOR was assessed 4 Misconducts, while BC had two on that exchange. All started by a person who had already been suspended for PED use.
Before anyone gets all "whatabout" on me, I would say the exact same thing if Sindani pulls any crap like this. But he's not the Canadian Poster Boy for redemption in TSN's eyes...
