New personnel, same coaching staff. Unfortunately.

Phantom DPI and "faking a knee" calls don't help.

Various and sundry observations. Looked like quite possibly the best team Walters and OShea have fielded so far and that's bad news for everybody. How do they find that talent and we, well....? Salvaged some respect but fact remains defense was completely dominated, perhaps humiliated. Could be Bummers, could be us, probably a mix.If yourre looking for silver linings there ain't tonight. You knew the "chemistry" and "timing" talk was coming but let's face it Mitchell stunk for the most part. Lots of misses and bad throws. Not just chemistry. Early days, of course. Can't complain about STs defense. Good returns by Woods. Felt good for Reinbold. So after game 1 Bummers are still the model franchise and we're still asking questions. If you spent the day trying to convince yourself that Winnipeg regressed after losing the GC, you're probably feeling a little foolish this morning.

My thoughts
- Skipped the game as honestly it had the outcome I was expecting - Checked TSN and "Mitchell went 18-of-34 for 187 yards with two interceptions and one TD throw." This is an improvement over Dane? I realize it is one game but I think Orlondo panicked after last seasons regression. - I watched most of the preseason games and felt that the team was in trouble with the players they brought in to rebuild the secondary. - I wont panic after one game but my expectations for this team remain quite low. I still think that currently Orlondo is the most overrated front office person in the CFL

Was always a reach and it shows.

At what time does the chemistry excuse become complete bollocks. I'm saying game 3.

Sure would have liked to see Dane here this year playing behind this improved O-line and receiver group.
