Whats on the menu for today!
I'll start it off
Philly Cheese steaks
KC BBQ ribs
pulled pork
cornbread
mac and cheese (w the leftover cheese sauce)
Chicken Fingers
garlic fingers
spin dip
buffalo dip
caesar salad maybe...? haven't decided on that part yet
Friends of ours made brownies pressed into a chocolate football shaped mold with green grass (icing)
add in the usual chips, nachos, nuts, popcorn etc....

Sausages and polenta with kale caesar salad, maybe chocolate cake for dessert.
Made the red sauce last night.

Anyhow, the polenta and sausages were great, added in some sauteed peppers too.
Had Paczki (Polish doughnuts - traditional at this time of year, and all year at Staropolski on Barton) as a treat.

(standard, delightful, probably unnecessary )Slight revision, as I realized I wasn't cooking for 10 dudes, but in fact 2 dudes, 2 smallish females, and two tiny children.... Highlight of the night being the two neighbour kids hiding from my 6'6" cousin, then subsequently popping out going "HEY GIANT!!!!!!!!" and then immediately hiding behind pillows again |
