Toronto vs Winnipeg @ Regina.
One neednt have anything invested in either the Argo rivalry or anti-Toronto anything to feel varying degrees of disgust at the thought of Larry Tannenbaum drinking from the Cup and giving himself a ring after holding the team and league in mild contempt.
So , gulp, go Bummers by 14.

argos by 2 somehow, and they manage to blatantly rip off josh smith, they hold the parade during a canada world cup game to absolutely minimize their affect within Toronto itself....

Lol....lots of Rider fans (the greatest CFL fans in the world) are crying now because they can't sell their Grey Cup tickets. They thought lots of Bomber fans would want them but they can't find accomodations in Regina so are passing. Apparently 6,000 tickets or 20% of Mosaic are currently up for sale in the resale market.

Lol....lots of Rider fans (the greatest CFL fans in the world) are crying now because they can't sell their Grey Cup tickets. They thought lots of Bomber fans would want them but they can't find accomodations in Regina so are passing. Apparently 6,000 tickets or 20% of Mosaic are currently up for sale in the resale market. Argo fans who waited until after EF are having to fly into Regina then find a bed in Moose Jaw , an hour away,then another bus or cab to and from game. Don't like it ? No problem you can fly into our cozy little airport in Saskatoon, 2.5 hours away. Welcome to the Heartland. |

Sure are a lot of seats available for sale (not just resale) on Ticketmaster 7 hours before kickoff....
Doesn't really seem like a thing a flagship franchise with the best fans in the league would have to deal with.....

In other news, does a somewhat emptier stadium make this more of a home game for Toronto?

Lots of MBT revisionism on the panel this week. "I've been hard on MBT all year but you know what..."
If he's meh today, which is more than a distinct possibility, at least they'll have an entire off season for it to go down the memory hole then back to "I'm just not sold on him."

When push comes to shove westerners tend to support a western team, even a rival like Wpg. Only exception is they tend to gang up against Calgary. I’m guessing the no-shows/ ticket sellers in Regina would actually be more pro-Argo if they went to the game, similar to Cat fans who wouldn’t go see Argos play the GC at THF. |

Of all the fan bases in the league, I believe the majority of Rider fans are Rider fans only, not necessarily CFL fans. |
