Rust argument appeals more to fans than anything.
Only time you hear a player complain about sitting out a nothing game is if a performance bonus is at stake or they figure their job's in danger.

Funny you mention bonuses. He attributes it to Fantasy points, but I think it has more to do with gambling, ie: prop bets. This has absolutely zero interest for me, so maybe someone with the experience can chime in.

Funny how the take-away isn't Evans and Oline effectively executing short yardage for first downs and TDs. I count at least three threads with people wanting to trade/bench/release Dane. The same people who simply blind themselves to the fact that the pylons on the O-line to start the season were a huge factor in the play of ALL quarterbacks. FFS they think Shiltz is the answer - even after his complete failure as a starting QB in MTL. They actually think that Fraudjardo and BLM would be an improvement over Dane. |

Playoff Fun Fact
We are playing Trevor Harris for the 4th consecutive season in the playoffs....
2018 - Jerry Glanville made him look like Tom Brady.
2019 - Beat him at THF in the EF
2021 - Beat him at THF in the ESF
2022 - ?
He's thrown for 1050 yards in those games.
I give it 12 hours before this gets stolen.
