Did Calgary make their move too soon?
The guy is good - but his stats don't jump off any page.
He averages 200 ypg at 75% completion percentage (clearly not going down the field) with 12 TD and 7 INTs (I realize 3 were last night). His Eff is 106 which is high, but again he's clearly not throwing the ball down field that much.
Not suggesting he wont be a solid QB - but is he doing anything Nick Arbuckle didn't do in Calgary? Should they have paid him so soon and made a statement about their future MID SEASON?
