per the ticats.ca transaction page.
Not sure why, he filled in pretty well at DT when called on

They know what Autry can do and maybe they feel it's better to keep the new DT McKinley Williams on the practice roster instead. Do I trust the braintrust's talent evaluation? Nope.

Its a positive sign. The quality organizations wait until Week 18 and 4 pts out of the playoffs to address weaknesses anyway.

We have not scouted and signed a noteworthy defensive lineman in two seasons. They let the best up and comer go in Mauldin. Not sure we’ve seen enough from Bingham, Crawford and Carney but so far I’m not getting any goosebumps from this crew. Bennett has improved this year but still not there yet. Only guy who puts any fear into offences is Wynn.

While I pray that the Cats have learned from this dumpster fire of a season and will make better choices this off season the practical side of my brain screams that they will just double down on stupid after this season.

I mean, they've substantially addressed the Oline in season, that's a great start in my books (don't call me the prowl, i'm just willing to be slightly optimistic.... in the same way that I assumed my kid brother would eventually learn spoon in socket go buzz) they've been smacked in the peepee enough the last two seasons to have learned a few lessons.

Yet, this team refused to apply those lessons. The 2020 non-season and the last two have been tire-fires personnel-wise. It shouldn't take 3/4 of the season to get a semi-effective O-line. This team also has a fetish (no other way to describe it) for undersized receivers and DBs.

I think they were counting on 'star power' and defense to get them through like last season, and it just never game. The depth slowly leaching away over the past 3 seasons has been too much to counter. As for the undersized comments... so sick of this. Get some big bodies that can high point a ball on both sides.

I read on The Prowl that it seems as if NFL cuts are more willing to wait by their phone for a practice-roster invite rather than signing up here.
