Smith has backed off from his "we kept the wrong QB" that was the rage about 3 mos ago.
Laurent hasn't been an impact player in at least 3 years. Saying the interior of the D line was set is ridiculous..
Also how could you possibly write a thing about mismanaged roster without mentioning Acklin or Mauldin ?

His drivel about this at the start of the season was beyond sickening. No QB stood a chance with the oline and receivers this team had. Masoli would not have done any better.
Evans is a franchise QB, just give him a competent oline and a good receiving corp....oh and for the love of god make better use of the running game.

Hell, Flutie would have struggled with that O line & receiving corps. How anyone can continue to assert that this org knows what the f*ck it's doing is beyond baffling. But I guess that's what happens when you're old as dirt & just thankful you still have a team to cheer for. |
