Now, the player's to blame too, for not hiring an agent and trying to negotiate on his own. This is also something he should have taken up with the CFLPA, for all THAT would do. That being said, from HIS perspective, Hervey was a complete A-hole. It makes me wonder if player agents have "blackballed" him from negotiations...

So we're probably out on Zylstra? I'm pretty sure you could say that...

In 2013 when he was GM of EDM Hervey publically humiliated Simeon Rottier centering him out after a 1-9 start then tried to shop him . Couldn't get a deal then tried "let's forgive and forget" . He was supposed to be a great hire here because he's experienced and presumably he could attract talent (eye roll). The only player you could draw a line to would be Durant (eye roll x2)

Who is the President of Football Operations for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, that I believe would be responsible for this hire? Just asking for a friend.

Holy crap, that is brutal.
Wonder how much input Hervey had into the decision to not bring Acklin back

Remember the Rottier episode. Have heard a couple other things about Hervey that didn’t seem above board. Might be why they go with the three heads instead of putting all the power in Hervey’s hands. He was out of a job for a couple of years - we’ll see if he has learned anything along the way.
