* Qualification - Who would be favoured in a neutral site game, who's the better team today.
Winnipeg
Coming off a bye - Winnipeg will host Calgary. Both games these 2 have played have been a TD win for Winnipeg. A win here will give the Bombers a 3-0 season series against Calgary, with a 3 game lead in the standings.
Calgary
A nice comeback win in Toronto and its Maier time. 3Down reports Maier to start against Winnipeg. Did we really want to see Bo take his best shot against the champs?
BC
Bumped them down a spot due to the loss of Rourke, in my world your current roster affects your Power Ranking position, otherwise we can look at those absolute things called standings. BC has the weapons to remain competitive, but will Michael OConnor be able to get them the ball? They host Sask in a game I still think they can win.
Montreal
After wins against Winnipeg and Hamilton, combined with Toronto faltering Montreal could be in the drivers seat in the East. However its still a little too soon to tell as this dumpster fire of a division changes every week.... for the worse.
Saskatchewan
Cody Fajardo pulled. It didnt matter but in the long run how will the biggest child in the league respond? With key injuries and a terrible OLine Sask fans are already relishing their chance to come through the East. I wouldnt take that to the bank just yet.
Toronto
We have to put them somewhere, but who knows where they should really be. MBT is still not a thing despite TSN trying.
Hamilton
1-2 in their last 3 could have easily been 3-0 but it's the story of the past 2 seasons for this team. If they even want to consider themselves in the playoff hunt they'll need at least a split in the next 2 against Toronto. Hopefully Dane Evans is ready to return, but i'm not confident in that either.
Edmonton
Probably most improved from the first few weeks, they are starting to at least resemble a football team. Another game against Ottawa has them in a position to finally win a home game. Win it and don't look now Sask but 4th isnt a given.
Ottawa
Every week we wonder how Lapo keeps his job. This week he was given a vote of confidence by ownership. Another ugly loss against Edm may just seal it.
