I thought I would have some fun and rank the current CFL head coaches.
1. Mike O'Shea 2. Dave Dickenson 3. Craig Dickenson 4. Rick Campbell 5. Ryan Dinwiddie 6. Orlondo Steinhauer
7. Chris Jones 8. Paul Lapolice
9. Danny Maccocia
For me though 7-9 are interchangable with Jones and Maccocia having dual roles and frankly too much say on the football side for either to be effective. Lapolice on the other hand is looking like the Norv Turner of the CFL where he is a great coordinator but lousy head coach.

I would agree with you except that Jones has not been successful ever when he has had more then one role. As for Campbell over Craig, I disagree as Ottawa was never more then a .500 football club with him and this is is first successful season with BC. He needs more sustained success to pass Craig for me.

he is a great coordinator but lousy head coach. The same could apply to Stein. I do not disagree and if things do not change for the better then going into next season I will fully agree. I was giving him a bit more time before I make that declaration as he only got the dual role this season. |
