Winnipeg
The champs may not look like their dominant selves but around here who would argue with 4-0? Their offense isn't clicking like it has been but their Defence, as constructed will keep them in every game. They also seem to avoid the big injury on both sides of the ball and are very well coached.
BC
The gap is narrowing. They could easily be #1 for the same price but there wasn't much to choose from between both teams' week 4 wins. Nathan Rourke continues to impress and rack up yardage both on the ground and through the air. Next up a Saturday night showdown to determine so much, including #1 in my power rankings.
Calgary
Bye week but this team remains 3-0 and somewhat under the radar in the ultra competitive West.
Saskatchewan
After a very slow start for both the defence and Cody Fajardo - Sask poured it on in the 2nd half easily taking care of the second leg of the home and home against Montreal. This is a good team but i'm not convinced they're better than any of the teams above them in the West. They could turn out to be the best crossover team we've ever seen.
Montreal
The East is theirs to win. They seem to be the most complete of all teams in the East, and that doesn't say much. Why does Trevor Harris get so much more slack than Vernon Adams? Don't get me wrong im not a fan of either QB but I think it's time to go back to Vernon. He just adds a dimension that TH doesn't.
Ottawa
Just a brutal schedule to start the year. Winnipeg twice, BC and now they go to Saskatchewan. Sometimes bad teams play to their competition but ultimately lose. They appeared to regress against BC and didn't look great - and all of the sudden after a couple turnovers had a chance to win the game. The East is so bad at this point they could make the playoffs, and I would put money on them to do that.
Edmonton
If this team played in the East would they make the playoffs? quite possibly. After a comeback win in Hamilton with Tre Ford leading the team, Edmonton has a date with Calgary and I wouldn't write them off.
Toronto
This team isn't very good. They were outplayed in the 2nd half of Week 2 against Montreal and have not been the better team on the field since. Blown out by BC and a loss against Winnipeg - the way that game was going you could make an argument for them to be last, but they fought back and lost a heartbreaker. Nobody will feel sorry for them given some of the games they've won in the past 12 months. MBT is a vastly overrated QB and Toronto should consider moving on from that contract.
Hamilton
I think everything that needs to be said about this team has been said on the board - but it's literally like groundhog day with the home blown leads. The memories of the Grey Cup arent going anywhere soon.
