It is not worth going on the other site at all anymore, unless you are a diehard Kool-aid drinker you will be roasted and run out of town there. You can roast Condell and Gibson. Just not Young or Stein.

Just not Young or Stein. Try to imagine examining HAM's troubles without mentioning the Offensive Line. Impossible you say ? Think again, fans. "We kept the wrong quarterback". For more trenchant insight like this check out Josh Smith's latest specimen on 3rd down nation.

I didn't agree with much of what he said, but he didn't say we kept the wrong qb: Keeping the wrong guy One thing we should nip in the bud right now, however, is the idea that the Tiger-Cats made a mistake in keeping Evans over Jeremiah Masoli, who signed with the Ottawa Redblacks in free agency. If we are being honest with ourselves, the Ticats would likely still be winless even if Masoli was under centre and Evans had left for Ottawa.

Hypothetical & therefore kind of irrelevant, but I would guess no. I doubt anyone on here would prefer Masoli over Dane. I know I don't. All the mooks on the team site calling for Shiltz or even Newman (!!) don't remember what it was like when Lancaster granted their wish at the end of Danny Mac's tenure.

I don't think anyone actually thinks Masoli is/was the better long term solution. There's a group of 5-7 bullies that play the card just to have that "I told you so" take but they didn't tell anyone so, they all said Dane was the right choice and now that the Cats are struggling they try some "be careful what you wish for" narrative that falls flat because they never actually picked a side.

There are several bullies on the other site which for me since I take an objective view of teams I cheer for lends me to be the target of these morons.
Anyone who has ever watched football and both Masoli and Evans play can understand why the Cats chose the later. I do like Masoli and I am not a hater but for me Evans is younger and has less milage and less major injuries then Masoli. I do also believe that Evans has the greater upside too.
I am not sure Ottawa's record would be any different if they had Evans as their offense has not clicked at all yet. I am not convinced that LaPolice is HC material and he is striking me as an elite Coordinator but a not very good HC.

Now that Khari is gone, lots of speculation that VA is next because he's not one of Maccioccia's "guys".
I still think Dane's our #1 qb, but anyone interested in VA as the backup?

Thorpe is the new DC in Mtl. Wouldn't mind Khari as an offensive consultant, it might light a fire under both Steinauer & Condell knowing he could replace either of them. Although who would fire O is apparently a franchise secret

No. But I'd take Noel Thorpe as our DC in two seconds. If you're gonna wish for something, make it realistic Austin riding to the 55 yard line of THF on a white stallion and announcing hes going to be Owner, Pres, GM, HC, DC .
