I'm at a loss. No ball security. Receivers can't get open. And when the sort-of do, they deflect balls into the opposition's hands. We lost the game at the coin toss. Again. This is on Orlondo. Papi White should be cut before he gets to the dressing room. Addison was virtually invisible. Simoni was virtually invisible. Play selection (WR sweeps) keep me scratching my head in a bad way.
If people don't lose their jobs over this, then Orlondo must have compromising pictures of Bob young with goats.

Just to clarify the coin toss... There's a misconception and I believe this is different than the NFL. When you win the toss you get choice of which half you want to choose ball or end.
Normally when a team wins the toss they elect to "defer" to make their choice in the second half.
Tonight, we won the toss and chose to take the ball in the first half. Edmonton then chose the wind in the 2nd Qtr. Edmonton then had the choice at the half and chose the wind in the 4th, giving us the ball again.
I'm frankly not sure why Stein chose to go with the ball first after both the Grey Cup and Calgary games at THF both coming down to wind we didn't have.

Forde was baffled at Stein decision. He half heartedly suggested Stein maybe wanted to force Ford to fight the wind early and shake his confidence but it sounded like Forde was just being devils advocate because somebody had to.

If there's one thing that you have been able to take to the bank since THF opened, it's that if you win the toss, you take the wind in the 4th quarter. Steinauer has no excuse for that stupid-ass decision.

Steinauer has no excuse for that stupid-ass decision. How many more times must we be subjected to Stein's stupid-ass decisions? This team is just badly coached and mismanaged. There is nothing else to say.

There is nothing else to say. I doubt he goes anywhere until after next year. 15-3 takes you a long way, even if it was 3 years ago. You'd think Bob would learn about unconventional management structures having been down that road before, but no....

If you blame Condell you're saying: "We have the talent on Offense to be significantly better than we are - and he is holding us back"
If you're blaming Evans you're saying: "If we just had a better QB we'd be significantly better"
Does anyone actually believe either of those to be true?
If you believe the issue is with talent on the field (or lack thereof) than start with the GM's and look to their boss.
This isn't hard.

It's funny that the same people who roasted Austin continue to praise Orlondo.

I blame Orlando the most as he is the president of the team and the buck ultimately stops with him. This team is without a doubt the worst team in the CFL season in terms of coaching and offensive player talent level on the field.
The defense is good enough to be competitive with any team in the league, however, offensively this team is just first rate garbage. While I am not the biggest Condell fan he is not the issue. Piss poor offensive line with a little league level coach (Gibson) and small receivers are the main issues. The run game can not ever get going because of the line and Evans never has enough time. When he does and he gets a good throw to the receivers most of them can not catch the damn ball.
Honestly, this is not even worth getting mad over. By labour day this team will be 1-10 at most and this team will not win more then 4 games this season.

I finally figured out who to blame for this mess. It has to be Casey Creehan, the Offensive Assistant???, (I completely forgot that we signed this knucklehead in the off-season). He was a complete disaster in his first go-round here as defensive co-ordinator so I'm blaming him.

All offensive staff should have a strip torn off them. Trouble is, I don't think Steinauer would do it, because it doesn't fit his style. Also, he seems to be just as stubborn as Austin when it comes to recognizing & changing his systems. As I posted before, I think I'd have a heart attack if they ever made any halftime adjustments. Gonna be a long season.

Gonna be a long season. Do you even think we have enough talent on offense to be marginally better than we've seen? I don't think we can run the ball with this OLine. I don't think we can protect long enough to try anything intermediate or down field. I don't think we have the receivers to challenge defenses with speed, height and more importantly... smarts.

Lalji is so out of his depth it's laughable. The stuff you have to come up with after watching maybe two HAM games a year.
