We all know that the League moved the hashmarks in to help with poor Offence over the past few years.
The broadcast teams have already started talking about the WILL position becoming closer to the SAM, where the "CFL Tweener" - an undersized (but fast) LB or oversized (but strong) DB. So, without a "the sky is falling" premonition, here's my "fear":
Could this be the end of Simoni Lawrence as a WILL LB? Does he have the speed necessary to cover receivers with that much more room between the hashmarks and the sideline? Is he too undersized to play MIKE?
How about THIS for a bamboozle - on 2nd-and-LONG, how about subbing in Adeleke for Simoni, and playing Kats at S? Gives the Defence better pass coverage, with a guy who can still make a tackle on a RB on a screen.

If he's not already playing MIKE, than I can see him making the move soon. Age is probably catching up to him, and he may not be fast/quick enough in coverage.

Funny, for all the "Don't you dare make changes to the CFL" talk I havent seen one comment about the hash marks until this one.
Anyways, I do think it will impact the linebackers game at some point but remember smaller linebackers mean teams will try to run more. Chess game that good coaches play well.
