Orlondo shat the bed. I hope that decision haunts him all night, every night, every future game, and twice on Saturdays (NCAA day). I hope it keeps him awake and ruins him. ZERO-for-two in GC games. Kept the best QB nailed to the bench all season. There was no "1A/1B" bullshit. Kicking, punting, O-line, secondary - all points of concern for 18 months, and the front office decided to blow chunks.

Failing to score any points off the 2nd Kelly INT. That stupid decision to give up the rouge off the kickoff, and the misplayed one that also went for a point. Up 12 points with 9 min to go. Poor playcalling 1st & goal from the 5. I would have rather they went for it on 3rd & goal instead of playing for overtime.
After a shitty night's sleep, this thing looks & feels no better. They gifted Wpg a championship they didn't deserve & wasted the efforts of some players that won't be back.
Eric Rogers posted on twitter that he's convinced Ticats can't win a GC no matter who they play, or where. Hard to argue against that. 4 losses in the last 9 years.
I am absolutely sick over this game. I don't follow any other sport. I'm tired of losing. It might be time for me to take a break from this team. I just can't do this anymore. And as bad as I feel, how much worse is it for Simoni, Banks, Wynn, Davis, Evans, Masoli?

It's probably the biggest loss in team history. Hard to make an argument against it.
The table was set for a classic upset, the ones we've seen time and time again in this league.
You keep going back to the what ifs?
What if we didnt give the single? What if Acklin caught the ball? What if we went for 3rd down? What if Evans didnt get hurt? What if we had all of our starters? (like they did) What if we had better punts? What if we scored a TD from the 3 when we kicked the FG to make it 9?
What if, what if, what if.
Its devastating really.
And on the safe site you'll get called "not a real fan" countfloyd - but I totally understand the feeling. When is it our time? What did Ticat nation do to the football Gods to deserve such luck?
4 Cups in 9 years - we can't pull one out of our asses like Toronto and Ottawa did?
It's at the point with me where 1 Grey Cup isnt enough. We're the Cleveland Browns, LA Clippers, etc.
When we finally do win the Cup we'll be the lovable losers that finally did it. The CFL charity case that people feel sorry for.

The CFL charity case that people feel sorry for. Been called far worse things by far better people. 48 years of fandom & they've let me down every year but 2. I don't expect to win every year, but you hit it: we're the sad sacks of the league. I'm just not content with championship games we're in & lose being described as classics. It's just not enough for me. This year was the worst since '89. At least last year, we were out of it by the 2nd half.

Worst part is this will go in the TSN all time Grey cup classics list. And we’ll have to relive every excruciating moment over and over.
Frack!!!!!😖😖😖😖😖

it was my first in person grey cup...
I still don't have my voice back.
Not gonna lie... except for the result... everything was pretty fukin cool.
Merch could have been more diverse... and available i guess...
I'm over the loss at this point, I'm still more bummed out over how cool the party would have been after a win and what we missed out on there

Reinbold:Don't want to rock the boat.....better to defend the stupid decision. As others have speculated, I believe that Tim White made the error not to return the kick (maybe thinking it was a touch back). The coach, to protect his player, says White was instructed to make the decision to concede or run the kick out. Under any circumstance that kick-off should have absolutely been returned as far as White could go, even if that meant inside the five yard line. There was 1:50 remaining in the game and the 'Cats were already committed to play three down football for the remainder of the game. Nobody knows how far downfield they could have got on each down. There was no big advantage of starting at the 35-yard line like O'Shea seems to think.

There was plenty of time to scrimmage from anywhere.

There was plenty of time to scrimmage from anywhere. I'm with Pope. I don't think White was instructed in detail what to do if he caught the ball, on the fly, in the endzone. I don't think any other kicks made it to the endzone on the fly, so it wasnt like it happened 3 more times in the game. I think it was an oversight, and hopefully our coaching staff learns something from it. I've also come to the conclusion that the team likely wouldn't have ended up on the 4 yard line - the play calling on our side specifically would have changed likely after the 3rd down play. When you're down 3 you have in the back of your mind "we can win with a TD" - when you're down 2 you're thinking "We have to get it to the 25 yard line"

This is a fair point. And no doubt Winnipeg may have adjusted some of their defensive play calls, knowing that a field goal loses the game for them rather than still getting a chance in O/T. They played pretty soft on that drive allowing a lot of underneath passes and some big runs.

I think the slant to Dunbar is when both teams went "Oh shit - a Touchdown is in play" - Winnipeg tightened up and Hamilton (to our credit) went right for the throat. There's so many what if's - but i'd have loved to see Jackson get down to the 2 on 1st down. That could have brought 2 QB sneaks into play and the clock at 0:00.

I wonder if "The Kneel" was a factor?
