Bad co-ordinators sometimes make better head coaches and we’ve seen the opposite as well (Claybrooks, Greg Marshall - the other one). If Washington gets hired and gives up some control of defence and hires the right people they may surprise us. |

Don't understand why it has to be both of them.. Since the rumour is oddly specific there's probably something to it. Since Danny Mac is likely to be a lateral move, it doesn't really make sense. But as you say, there must be a reason both are being referenced. Could be Co-GMs. Perhaps Ted is more of the numbers/business/contracts/salary cap/roster guy and DMac is the Scouting/Talent guy. They may get along well and DMac may want to spend more time in the US. Without Kyle Walters over their head it's still a promotion. |

My understanding of Danny's job is that he's like the main US scout & operates out of his home in Florida. Whether he'd want to change that is anyone's guess, but you could be right about the co-GM situation. Either way, considering the talent the bummers have brought in, I'm good with it. |
