Both 2-7 heading into this one on Saturday in Hamilton. Hamilton are +2.5 and most are picking Edmonton straight up and with the spread. That tells me that there is little confidence in CFL land that Hamilton has done enough to beat a team that is of equal caliber and ability.

Bell at RB doesn't have to light it up. He just has to show some progress and that he's learning.

We're gonna lose, and it won't be close.

MBT starting. Expect him to dink and dunk us to death. Just saw that. I may have to amend my prediction. Tre Ford has to be wondering wtf he has to do, apart from leaving Edm at the end of this year.

Pretty sure Ford had either a shoulder or rib injury during last week’s game. Not that our defence can really stop either one if they’re on, but at least we know where to find MBT in the pocket.

Bell at RB doesn't have to light it up. He just has to show some progress and that he's learning. Biggest thing to watch for I think is how he picks up Edmonton’s blitz and whether he can grind out some tough yards running inside. From what I’ve seen he is decent catching the ball out of the backfield and is a bit quicker/shiftier than Butler. Less power but possibly more potential to break off a long gain. Some teams actually have a running back who can double at returns, that way they can give their other back some rest during a game. I’m not sure Bell did any return work in college but it’s something the team should look at for next year, whether they keep him or go with another back.

I really hope that the Butler scratch is due to injury like they are saying. This team has had enough crap and drama to last our lifetimes.

First play - turnover on a hellacious hit. Hoping that Luther is OK. Next series, Powell takes-off and gets creamed with a head-shot (no penalty). In Protocol. Bo comes in and moves the Offence. Throws a chek-down pass near the goal line, and the backup RB lets it go through his arms to a defender for an INT.
You can't make this crap up.

Mitigating circumstances for this one ,maybe, but two straight games they show up with head firmly up their own arse. Losing because you're inferior is one thing. Unprepared is another. Got to ask some hard questions now.

Have to question not only the talent level, but heart, preparation, culture....everything, really.
Team is a clown car.
