The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Friday, the following players have been released:
AMER – DB – Caleb Biggers
AMER – DL – Jamal Davis
AMER – TE – Thaddeus Moss
AMER – WR – JuanCarlos Santana
NAT – K – Keiran Burnham
NAT – WR – Kaine Stevenson
The football club also announced the following players have retired:
AMER— DB – Javien Elliott
AMER – LB – Chris Kolarevic
NAT – FB – Bailey Feltmate

The surprising cut is veteran defensive end Jamal Davis especially since he was pencilled in as a starter on depth charts on the D-line. Not too often teams release veterans before main camp has even started. Maybe he showed up to camp like J'Gared did last year.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Sunday, the football club has signed American tight end Michael Ezeike.
Ezeike, 23, most recently spent time in the United Football League with the Memphis Showboats (2023-24) and in the National Football League with the Los Angeles Rams after signing with the club as an undrafted free agent (2023). The 6’5, 250-pound native of Upland, California suited up in 48 games over his five seasons at UCLA, posting 35 receptions for 407 yards and seven touchdowns.

I'm at camp now. Figueroa was on the field briefly, didn't look injured. Removed jersey, not sure where he went. Might just be roster management. |
